At a time like this, our mission to ignite the power and promise of youth is more important than ever. Here’s how we’re continuing to serve Sheboygan’s youth while keeping our Littles, Bigs and staff safe.
INFORMATION FOR BIGS, LITTLES & FAMILIES +
Big Brothers Big Sisters recommends, Bigs, Littles and their families should follow CDC recommendations and guidelines related to hygiene, face coverings, social distancing and accessing public places. Here is some important information to review and ways to stay connected.
We've moved! Effective July 6th, the BBBS offices have relocated to 632 North 8th St., Unit 2 on the southwest corner of 8th St. and New York Ave.

We’re here to support you. While our new offices remain closed ot the public and some staff continue to work remotely, all staff are working daily, fulltime. We will connect with you as we normally do in your partnership, but will also be gathering information about needs that may have arisen for you because of the health crisis.

For the most accurate and up-to-date health information, please use the CDC and local health department websites for the most factual, up to date guidelines.
INFORMATION FOR THE SHEBOYGAN COUNTY COMMUNITY +
During this challenging time, we remain confident as we continue our daily, remote support of close to 700 individuals, including Bigs, Littles and their families. Our team’s focus remains identifying how we can be a supportive resource to Bigs, Littles and their families to ensure they stay safe and healthy.
We continue to provide guidance and support related to:
• Accessing emergency food
• Accessing household supplies and prescriptions
• Access to rental assistance and utility payment options
The serious impact of the health crisis is becoming clearer as we learn more from the families in our program. The disconnection and uncertainties around the school support system is affecting more than just learning loss. We are working increase the academic supports we can offer, as well as ramping up our recruitment efforts so as new volumes of referral come in, we have Bigs ready and waiting to be matched. Finally, we are identifying funding sources to assist with adapting our program offerings in the long term and gearing up to support more kids in our communities. In addition, we are engaging the community to help address the shortfall in funding created by the impact of COVID-19 on business and individuals throughout our county. The CARES Act signed into law on March 27, 2020 allows individuals who do not itemize when filing taxes, a $300 deduction for cash donations made to a nonprofit for any purpose (not limited to COVID-19 relief) in 2020.
